new living room
Last night, several of our dear friends from church treated us to a living room make-over, complete with a "Trading Spaces" style surprise ending! It took me several pictures to show the whole transformation... the first is a new tv stand that Jamie custom built, the last one is an overview of all the pieces together. We are so overwhelmed by their generosity and we really love the new look!

looks amazing! was it a surprise for both of you, or was Jamie in on it? everything looks beautiful.
we helped with the rearrangement, then they kicked us out for the last hour, in which it was redecorated and several touches (circle mirror, lamps, picture wall) were added! it felt so incredible to be lavished in such a fashion. we are so lucky!

the toys are IN the chinese chest. well, they are for at least this moment. ;)
A grown up living room? What a concept! Toys in the chest, a very good idea. Be sure to reinforce the hinges! [I know from experience] What great friends you have.
What a difference a day makes! You certainly are blessed wtih terrific friends. Can't wait to try out one of those new red chairs in 5 weeks.
