A Little Run in with the Wall

It was early Sunday morning and Jared had already left for work. Win woke up and was crying out for his morning bottle. Having stayed up too late the night before, I sleepily stumbled through the living room to the kitchen. The transition from the dark bedroom to the light living room was a little too much to take and I began doing that squinty stumble that one does in the morning when faced with a bright light. Half asleep and and dashing through our living room with my eyes closed I walked straight into a very solid door post. Unprepared for impact my face took the majority of the force. And I heard a distinct cracking sound. I began sweating, my head began spinning and Win began crying louder. I tried to stand but my vision would go dark and I felt like I would faint. I crawled into the kitchen and prepared a bottle while lying on the floor. I crawled into Win's room, pulled him out of his crib and layed him on the floor. He fed himself a bottle while I laid next to him. For the next two days I have had a throbbing nose with a big bruise on it. It never bled and doesn't appear to have been as bad as it seemed when it happened. What do you think? How do I look?
