Ezra's Late Birthday Post
Ezra turned 6 on Friday and had a crazy birthday party with his four closest friends and their siblings. Here's a piece of advice: if you're throwing a party for 6 year old boys, have activities planned for the entire time and don't allow a minute of free play! It was insane to say the least.
Ezra is such a wonderful son and makes us so proud. He's incredibly gentle with his younger siblings and gets more excited than anyone when Willow learns something new. He's sensitive, sweet, and perceptive... on more than one occasion he's sensed that I'm having a hard day and will come cuddle me and talk to me about what's wrong. In general, he thinks like a boy who's older than 6.
This picture below is so typical of Ezra. While I'm sorting through clothes, he runs across an old shirt of his from two years ago. He remembers it from the picture he's holding, then puts the shirt on and sits reminiscing about the past for quite awhile. I don't know where he gets this from :) but Ezra is so nostalgic and loves to sit around and think of times past.
Ezra is doing great in school, particularly with reading and math.
When Ez turned 6, I thought to myself, wow, it's hard to believe Jason and I have been married for 6 years, 9 months, and 2 weeks!
